Nerds are hot
Here's what I got off of Nerve.com. I very much agree with it.
Nerds are hot. Not nerds like in Revenge of the Nerds, of course. But true nerds: The ones who get caught up in a great book and choose to forgo the night out at the bar just to finish it; the ones who take continuing education classes just to keep learning; the ones who occasionally quote from Bartlett's; the ones who are so smart they can come up with the most clever wise-ass comebacks on command (though they're too timid to actually speak them out loud); the ones who watch Jeopardy. Be prepared to meet a nerd this week who will massage your brain in places you've never had stimulated before, aw yeah.
proper nice
I'm near the finish line! I feel so accomplished!
Woo-hoo!
*me jumps on top of the desk and stomps her feet*
Anywho, been thinking a lot lately about playing the guitar.
at least getting back to learning it.
Here are the reasons why:
1. the first 58 seconds of Heart's "Crazy on You"
{I'd like to do that. talk about orgiastic. *sigh*}
2. the way Kurt Shanks (of stellar*) did the guitar intro to "Star"
{the way he interacted with his guitar was intense. Its a must watch. Click here. and look for the link titled NEWS}

the Breakfast Club and the Things you can Tell Just by Looking At Her
Homebound.
Watched:
1. Things you can Tell Just by Looking At Her
2. Your Friends & Neighbors
3. Sliding Doors
4. The Breakfast Club
Lessons learned:
Cameron Diaz was a pretty cool blind girl in "Things"
Ben Stiller's character in F&N was rather irritating... I wouldn't have blamed Amy Brenneman's character for dumping him
The guy who plays James in Sliding Doors has an addictive accent-- British, of course.
Anthony Michael Hall in TBC was kinda cool 'specially when he was high/crying/making a point
which mr. men/little miss are you? take the quiz & find out! :) quiz made by R.Z is waylaid in wonder at 4:46 PM

you can't really tell a book by its cover.

Do you know what it means
To abandon your dreams?
To leave with the storms rolling by
How the clouds on this day
Come to take you away
Til you're gone gone far away from me
